I’ve got a plan for the next 10 years of my life. If I don’t make one now, it’ll be 2024 and i’ll be sitting on the couch wondering what happened to the last 10 years. Are you ready!?
Build muscle, strength, endurance and flexibility.
Compete in a half marathon, triathlon, and/or an obstacle course race.
All of the above is to prepare for what is coming next!
AND BEYOND . . .
I want to do one of these
A few of these
One of These
Get My Photo Taken Here
And Eventually Complete One of These Crazy Babies (Yes I’m talking about the full one)
I also want to be able to do this
And lots of these
Am I crazy? Yes.
Can all this be done in 10 years? Yes.
Will I be able to do this within 10 years? Yes!
Will I actually do all this within 10 years? Yes . . . ? (Completely depends on life circumstances, but you can bet I’m going to give this my best shot.)
What Can I Say. I enjoy challenges and I’ve always thought an Ironman Triathlon is one of the most difficult but feasible races for someone like me to do. (Did you know there are tons of ultra races for hardcore endurance junkies like the Tour De France, the Western States 100, and stuff like Tours de Geants. Seriously, check out this link about the toughest races in the world!)
What are your fitness goals for the next 10 years? Everyone starts somewhere and my passion for racing began a few years ago when I finished my first sprint triathlon. Looking back in prep for that race, I thought it was the hardest thing I could ever do. Oh, how I’ve grown in the last few years!
